The more I stared, the less sense it made, until my own imagination began to unra\u2026 Continues\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I had just come back from a trip, tired but relieved to be home, when a long shower seemed like the perfect reset.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Stepping out, still wrapped in steam, I<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">spotted it near the drain: a tiny, pale lump with a dark, pointed tip jutting out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It was small, motionless, and yet my mind instantly turned it into something sinister. I hovered at a distance, watching, waiting for the slightest twitch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Curiosity finally overpowered fear.
