Nedra Talley-Ross was an American singer best known as a founding member of the influential 1960s group The Ronettes. Born on<\/p>\n\n\n\n

January 27, 1946, in New York City, she grew up in Spanish Harlem and formed the group as a teenager with<\/p>\n\n\n\n

her cousins Ronnie Spector and Estelle Bennett. Together, they became one of the defining acts of their era, contributing to the popularity of the girl group sound.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Ronettes gained recognition in the early 1960s with a blend of pop, rock, and R&B. Their well-known songs include \u201cBe My Baby,\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
